Tyler's cardiac surgery appointment unfortunately went bad today. He was admitted to the hospital after our Noon clinic visit, because his left and right chest cavities are plumb FULL. He received a potent IV diuretic this evening, we're having to spend the night here (hopefully only a day or two), and he was put on the emergency status with Dr. Lofland. We'll undergo surgery tomorrow to place a few more Blake drains in/around his chest/ribs. That is all I know for the time being. I'm tired and a little upset, but I'm bound and determined to make it over this hurdle. He is not a happy camper having to stick around for his ''appointment'' a little longer than the usual 4 hours. Ha!
