We're celebrating July with strawberries... and blueberries... and cider donuts and visiting chickens and goats...
We picked strawberries this morning with friends, and it felt like summer. A touch of humidity, a splash of bug spray, and strawberry juices dripping from mouths... a good way to start the month.
The kids love any fruit picking experience. And while Fynn won't eat the berries, he is a master picker and is all about business while he's in the trenches.
He cracks me up these days. He's wanted to pray a lot. Paige does as well, and their kid heart prayers warm my heart. Yesterday Fynn asked God to help him dig a big hole at the beach. Paige prayed to God to watch over her at night, and to help her put her jammies on by herself. That's huge progress for her, as just a few weeks ago she was asking God for a puppy and a pony...
Anyway.
We're gearing up for a full weekend. Part in Maine, part in Mass, part work {for me... another wedding to second shoot... } and mostly play. Beach time and grandparent time and snuggle time and berry time.
Summer is HERE.
