I like not only to be loved, but to be told I am loved- George Eliot

I will never forget the 365 Love Letters in The Notebook, or the Telegrams in The Sound of Music.

When I think of love letters, I picture the old films with the tissue thin pink stationary spritzed with perfume sent off to their loved ones at war sealed with a kiss.

In a time where teaching cursive script is being eliminated in schools... what will happen to letters?

Best of all letters... LOVE LETTERS?

It's the perfect time season to revive them... don't you think? Here are some Love Letter tips to get you started.

* Get some fun Love Letter writing supplies: pretty paper, a nice red ink pen, love stamps. Use a photo and old photo corners, or a pretty satin ribbon to make your own. Paper Source is the perfect one stop shop for this.

* Think about what you want to say and make some notes or a draft.

* It can be as simple as a few words, have a great quote, memory of the moment or place you knew you were in love, talk about your favorite things you do together.

* Make is clean, yet sexy- definitely feel free to be a bit sensual and loving.

* Look up favorite love quotes or think of lines from great love songs.

*Mail it, leave it on a pillow, hide it in a pocket, let it be a surprise.

Most of All- be your true self- even if it's with a little humor. Probably skip the perfume, and don't forget you can send a love letter any time of the year.

So get writing... "Where we love, we always have something to say." - Lady Mary Wortley Montagu
