A bumble bee and a Tomas the train made their way to a zoo this afternoon...
The big city zoo {for us... } as we missed the Halloween events at "our" zoo last weekend. But this one has giraffes and zebras and gorillas, so we like it just as much as our own zoo.
And this one had table set up for trick or treating, with signs on the ones that could contain peanuts {which made this peanut free family very happy!!} and there were only a few of said signs...
So it was the perfect Halloween outing for us... for this year.
{We're very appreciative of events where it's safe for everyone, and we don't have to find and read labels or bring our own goodies for the kids - even though I'm more than happy to do it... it's nice to catch a break now and then, especially through the next few months... }
And after all - what's the fun in Halloween if you can't have a lollipop to keep in your mouth like all the big kids?
{and Thomas the Train, aka Fynn, might have been treated like a rock star by the kids who passed him - all practically bowing down to "THOMAS THE TRAIN!!!!!" :) And our little bee? She couldn't have been any cuter especially as she pointed out the BIG snakes... eeek!}
