This morning we dragged our sniffly, sore throaty selves to the beach, for some more beach medicine
We met our Friday friends, who don't mind our germs... and who will stand beside us with sandy feet in awe of the ocean
Squishing sand and search for seashells we passed the time, mothers trying to get words in while we chased little ones up and down the shore
It calms the mind, eases the sick that hangs around, takes away sibling rivalry and mama guilt
A special place, to spend a special Friday, possibly sneaking a shared treat ;) (an introduction to the chai latte... watered down of course... )
