This whole situation is getting really messed up in my opinion! Tyler's heart surgeon came in this morning and said once again that he will not be operating on him today. So now, Tyler still has fluid in his chest cavity, it HAS decreased a little bit more than yesterday, but NOT much... however, since they're slamming his body with the super strong IV diuretics, his bloodwork is all jacked up again and his electrolytes are on the downward spiral -- just like what happened in June. It really, really feels like we're back to square one again, and they're saying he could be here for another week. I'm so upset with how this is being handled, when the plan of care they are currently administering IS NOT the plan of care that was directly told to me during our clinic visit Tuesday when it was a necessity to admit him to the hospital. But I do have to remember to trust in the Lord and that He is doing what is supposed to be done at this time; where if the surgeon continues to refuse the insertion/placement of anther Blake drain, that this has to be the way it goes because ultimately the surgeon makes the final decision. So here we are, playing the ''wait and see'' game, while his bloodwork and kidneys are taken on a horrible roadtrip. Please pray for me to gain some trust and patience with Tyler's team of medical staff.
