As I am beginning to share this recipe with you, I am seriously considering eating a piece of this pie just so that I have the right words. Unbelievable. That pretty much sums it up.
You will need:
1 stick of unsalted butter
1 ½ squares unsweetened baking chocolate (1.5 ounces)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup flour
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
First, you will want to place the butter and the chocolate in a microwave safe dish and melt on low to medium power, being careful not to overheat.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix well with the sugar.
Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well. Now add the milk and the vanilla, ensuring that everything is well combined. You will want to add the flour last, using the fold in method as opposed to stirring heavily. Continue to fold the flour in until the mixture is a solid color. Bake for 25 minutes and serve hot or reheated with ice cream and/or fresh berries!
