It's on my kitchen counter. Behind the bowl of onions and potatoes. A cookie jar sits on top along with a garlic pot and an old Ritz Cracker tin that houses single doses of coffee for or fancy coffee maker. Most days I forget it's there, tucked in with the chaos of the daily comings and goings of the kitchen. But it's there.
A cardboard container with the simplest of messages. Simplify.
Yesterday afternoon as I put away sparkling clean plates, dished out snacks and poured milk, I took note of the yellow letters.
Moments later when my kids asked for bubbles we headed into the bathroom with a huge container of Magic Bubbles. And got messy. Really really messy. Bubble solution drizzled on bare legs and hands and toes.
Lips kissed the bright pink wand and eyes danced around the tiny bathroom as bubbles darted up and down and away and over and onto.
Simple magic.
Simplify. The choice is right in front of us. Take the chance, and savor the simple moments.
