My Perfect Margarita Recipe

You will love this recipe for Margaritas- It is how they are truly meant to taste- refreshing, filled with citrus taste and ripe fruits of Summer.
And you can drink more than one without hitting the floor or overdosing on Sugar. I am so sick of those nasty mixes that ruin Margaritas and give them a bad name.

For 4-6 margaritas You will need: (So you will probably want to double or triple it for obvious reasons)

a small juicer- ( not electric- their like 4$ at Target, Sur La Table, anywhere....)
2 -3 oranges
4- limes
3 lemons
fine organic sugar
good silver tequila- ( like Petrone)
Cointreau
Ice
Pretty Glass Pitcher
Salt- optional- pink prefereably.

Juice all fruits into the glass/ plastic container attached to the base of juicer. If you have a zester-scrape some zest off all fruits into bottom of pitcher prior to juicing. Pour juice into pitcher.
Add 4-6 TBS of the sugar.
Start with 1 cup tequila and 1/2 cup Cointreau
Add to pitcher-
Stir- taste- see if you want a little more of anything??sugar, tequila, etc.... to taste.
Add Ice and Garish with orange slices- or even watermelon-

PS you can make your ow light pink salt with a little food coloring- mix it i with the salt ad a bit of water to saturate it- then let it dry- voila baby pink salt so it wont stain your teeth, and you have preppy boat drinks....

Cheers!
